Conference Announcement: The Wording of the Elijah Cycle and Its Early Reception

Location: Collegium Bobolanum, Catholic Academy in Warsaw, Poland
We are thrilled to announce the international conference "The Wording of the Elijah Cycle and Its Early Reception," hosted by Collegium Bobolanum at the Catholic Academy in Warsaw. This event celebrates the issue of The Shorter Dictionary of Classical Hebrew Revised and The Concise Dictionary of Classical Hebrew Revised by David J. A. Clines (Editor) and David M. Stec (Research Associate) (Sheffield Phoenix Press), alongside with the first edition of The Prophet Is the People (Brill) by Alicia Hein. The conference will explore the vocabulary of the Masoretic Text in the Elijah Cycle (1 Kings 17–2 Kings 2), its redaction, and early reception. Scholars specializing in Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic are warmly invited to submit paper proposals. Selected contributions will be published as Collected Essays by Sheffield Phoenix Press.
